SSgt Peoples served in the Army as an administrative assistant. He joined the Army following his Father’s footsteps. Which he did when he served in the same unit while stationed in Korea.
When Mr. Peoples first joined the Army, he did not like it … at all. After a while he says that he “got it together” and ended up really enjoying his service and did well as a Soldier. When he decided to join the military everyone in his family was thrilled. He had just gotten married one month before he entered the service.
The unique perspectives that the Army gave me was how to be highly effective as a trainer. What he hopes to impart on students, two things which he believes are the most important lessons from his experience in the military are discipline and accepting responsibilities. He hopes to make a positive impact on students by encouraging them to stay in school through graduation.
