Dear Lee High School Parents & Guardians,
Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your child’s education last school year. We have so much to celebrate. We had a great year, and we are excited about having an even better year next year. Hope everyone has a relaxing summer break as we get ready for another legendary year. Here are some important announcements:
Report Cards
We mailed home report cards on May 30th. If you have any questions about grades, credits, or summer school opportunities, please email the Graduation Coach at patrick.holder@hsv-k12.org, the rising 12th grade and magnet student counselor at denise.lee@hsv-k12.org, or the rising 9th-11th non-magnet student counselor at chris.white@hsv-k12.org.
Registration
Please ensure that you have completed PowerSchool registration for your child!
1) Complete online enrollment. Go to www.huntsvillecityschools.org, click the blue enrollment button, and scroll down to “Returning Student Registration.” Follow the steps and enter the Snapcode that has been emailed and mailed to you.
2) Provide two current (within the last 30 days) valid documents as proof of residence. One must be a lease, deed, or mortgage and the other must be a utility, cable, or phone bill. You may upload or email scanned copies of the documents or snapshots taken by phone (please be sure the snapshot is not blurry and displays the whole document). If you choose to email the documents or have any questions about the registration process or need assistance, please email the Registrar at anjanette.yarbrough@hsv-k12.org
Orientations
Our returning student orientations will be on Monday, July 29. Rising 10th and 11th grade schedule pickup will be from 3:00p.m.-5:00p.m. in the gym lobby. The required senior parent meeting and schedule pickup will be at 5:30p.m. in the gym.
Summer Office Hours
Open Monday-Thursday from 8am-4pm, closed for lunch between 12pm-1pm
Closed on Fridays, June 19th, and July 4th.
Starting July 22nd, we will resume the normal school schedule
The first day of school is Thursday, August 1st, and we need all our students to be here.
