Our Green Ambassadors were recently featured by WHNT Channel 19 for their inspiring work in environmental science and sustainability.
This hands-on program—founded by Mr. McDonald—gives students the opportunity to collect real biodiversity data using iNaturalist, design native plant habitats, and advocate for a healthier, greener campus. With support from the Land Trust of North Alabama, this year the Green Ambassadors are turning science into action.
Thanks to these partnerships and a recent City of Huntsville grant, the program will continue to grow and impact our school and community for years to come.
We’re incredibly proud of our students for leading the way in local environmental change.
