Ms. Hendricks Showing a Powerpoint to Parents

On Tuesday, August 27, we hosted an informative ESOL parent meeting designed to empower and engage our school community. Attendees gained valuable insights into the ESOL program, including its structure, goals, and resources available to support their children’s language development. We also covered the Alabama Literacy Act, explaining its significance and how it enhances literacy instruction. To further strengthen the home-school connection, we shared best practices for parents to stay actively involved with their child’s teacher, ensuring a collaborative approach to their educational journey. The meeting was a great opportunity for parents to ask questions, share experiences, and build a supportive network for their children’s success.
