Our Third Grade students at McDonnell Elementary had an opportunity to learn how to play the violin! Instructors from the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra came to our school and taught nine lessons during the months of September and October. The tenth lesson was the Violin Recital where students invited their parents and guardians to show what they have learned. Students learned about the parts of the violin, famous composers of the past, and learned to play a few different songs.
