The 2023 spelling bee at Morris Elementary started off with a strong group of 25 spellers ranging from grades 2-5. The bee lasted 14 rounds with our winner and runner-up, 3rd graders, Hunter Ridgway (contestant #10) and D'Andre Graham (contestant #9) giving a great showdown! The winning word was afrobeat. Congratulations to all our contestants and Hunter Ridgway who will go on to represent Morris Elementary in our county bee in February.
