Amber Heimbeck was selected as Mountain Gap Middle School’s Teacher of the Year! Not only was Mrs. Heimbeck selected as Teacher of the Year but she was also selected as Teacher of the Month for November!
Mrs. Heimbeck is amazing! She connects with her students and makes learning fun by incorporating hands-on and relevant science activities into her curriculum. Her hard work shows and gets results. Mrs. Heimbeck’s students had the highest middle school ACAP scores in the District last year. Mrs. Heimbeck gets to know every child and gifts them with their favorite treat on their birthday.
She goes above and beyond for our students and our school. She co-sponsors the robotics club and has helped to organize many school-wide activities such as STEAM Night and our upcoming Mad Scientist Day. She serves our teachers and staff on the leadership team, as one of the leaders for the teacher/school support team, is the middle school teacher representative for PTA, and so, so, much more.
Mrs. Heimbeck makes Mountain Gap a better place to be!
