MLK students

In Mrs. Herrin's 2nd grade class, students learned about Black History by reading stories of African American trailblazers. They read about figures like Rosa Parks, MLK Jr., and Harriet Tubman and engaged in thoughtful discussions. The experience broadened their understanding of Black History and fostered empathy and respect for diversity. Mrs. Herrin's dedication to inclusivity and honoring all people's contributions profoundly impacted her students.
