3rd grade students pictured working on maze

Third grade STEM students worked together to complete a challenging maze using base block coding! This activity allowed students to combine critical thinking, teamwork, and coding skills as they navigated their way through the maze, step by step. Working in small groups, students applied their knowledge of coding to break down the problem and create step-by-step instructions to guide their characters through the maze. Each team worked collaboratively to ensure their code was efficient and accurate, testing their solutions and refining them until they reached the goal. This real-world application of coding was a fun and engaging way to strengthen problem-solving skills while fostering collaboration and creativity. The students demonstrated impressive teamwork as they learned to think logically and persevere through challenges—skills that will serve them well in the future!
