On Thursday, March 21st Morris Middle School planted a classroom. Students, parent volunteers, faculty members, high school volunteers and representatives from local organizations rolled up their sleeves and brought to life an Outdoor Classroom that's been in the works for months. Students will use this garden for hands on learning including STEM and Life Science units, and even "farm to table" economics and ecology activities.
A special thank you to the parents who volunteered their time and effort to make this classroom a reality!
The ribbon cutting ceremony featured student, faculty, administration and district representatives. 7th Graders Ed'Juan Catlin did the honors of cutting the ribbon.
