On Wednesday, March 27th Candace Hatcher and Eugene Fedoseyev from HCS's Multilingual Learners Education program presented tips for an "asset-based approach to teaching multilingual learners". Hatcher and Fedoseyev demonstrated ways to scaffold language acquisition that all faculty can incorporate into their teaching, including the use of AI tools. Teachers walked away with tools and techniques to help focus on the skills and knowledge English Language Learners bring to the classroom.
