Monte Sano 5th grade students had the opportunity to spend a week at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center. The students worked as a team to confront mission scenarios that require dynamic problem solving and critical thinking — 21st century learning skills required in the workplace. Throughout the week, students were immersed in astronaut training techniques using equipment adapted from NASA’s astronaut program.
