Ms. Morris from AMSTI UAH recently visited Ms. Payne's 4th grade class to deliver an exciting energy lesson. Students explored various forms of energy—including electrical, heat, sound, chemical, stored, motion, and wind energy—through the fun activity of popping popcorn. They tracked the flow of energy transfers and transformations, connecting the journey from the sun to their delicious snack. This engaging, hands-on experience not only deepened their understanding of energy concepts but also provided a tasty treat to enjoy!
