Our 5th-grade students recently had an incredible field trip to Camp Cha-La-Kee, filled with exciting activities and hands-on learning. Highlights included team-building exercises, a thrilling scavenger hunt centered on pre-Civil War stories, and an archaeological dig where students acted as archaeologists to excavate artifacts. Throughout the trip, the students demonstrated curiosity, collaboration, and enthusiasm for new experiences. They engaged deeply in each activity, showing a love for history and discovery. The camp trip was a memorable adventure, sparking both learning and lifelong memories!
