Congratulations to Monte Sano Elementary for being one of only 32 schools recognized as a 2024 CLAS Banner School of Distinction for our Book Buddies Program! This
initiative pairs our GATE students with younger peers for weekly reading sessions, fostering literacy, mentorship, and creativity. As a special project, the older students write, illustrate, and publish a book featuring their Little Buddy as the main character. Thank you to our GATE teacher Ms. Hill and her students for making this meaningful program possible!
