Trinity Thomas has authored and is publishing a book about African American/cultures and the self-concept around hair! She shared her book in a read-aloud at Montview Elementary with PreK, 1st, and 2nd graders. Our students took her pledge to love their hair and take care of it! The book is part of Trinity's Girl Scout project. Trinity is seventeen years old and a Senior at Sparkman High School in Madison County. We hope to purchase her book when it is published to add to our School2Home family libraries!
