We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Tina McBride for her outstanding achievement as the recipient of the 2023-2024 Teacher of the Year award at Montview Elementary School. A dedicated educator to her fourth grade students, Ms. McBride's academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, awarded by the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) in 2018. She further honed her expertise by obtaining a Master of Science in Differentiated Instruction and English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) from UAH in 2021, followed by a second Master of Science as a Reading Specialist in 2022.
Ms. McBride has recently completed an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Teacher Leadership through the University of West Alabama (UWA), with an anticipation of graduation in the spring of 2024. Additionally, she is actively working towards achieving her National Board Certification. Since commencing her teaching career at Montview in 2018, Ms. McBride has demonstrated a commitment to excellence across both fourth and fifth grades.
Her dedication to nurturing her students' growth and enhancing their learning experience has been evident throughout her tenure.
