Congratulations to Ms. Jennifer Phillips for being honored as Teacher of the Year! This recognition is truly well deserved, as she exemplifies what it means to be an outstanding educator, supporting her students both academically and in life.

Ms. Phillips began her remarkable journey in education in 1996, working with Pre-K students. Her passion for nurturing young minds led her to run her own daycare, where she served as headmaster. In 2016, she transitioned into public education, bringing her wealth of experience to 3rd-grade classrooms. Her inspiration to pursue a career in education stems from her great-grandmother and grandmother, whose legacies continue to guide her.

Initially, Ms. Phillips served as Montview's ARI Specialist, but her heart was always in the classroom. When the opportunity arose to return to teaching directly, she embraced it wholeheartedly. Her dedication to professional growth is evident in her accomplishments, including earning a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education and actively working toward her National Board Certification.

Ms. Phillips’ devotion, passion, and unwavering commitment to her students are exactly why she has earned this honor. Congratulations once again, Ms. Phillips, on this well-deserved recognition!
