Have you guys enjoyed the temperatures this week? It sure has been nice to not be bundled up at dismissal!
We had another great turnout for our Thursday night FAST Program. I am so thankful for this time that our parents are able to get together.
Remember that on our last FAST program night, Thursday, February 23, I will be giving our Mid-Year State of the School. I look forward to sharing our school growth and next steps with all of you.
Our Greenpower Goblin Race is this Saturday, February 11. Please come out to Milton Frank and support our Greenpower Team.
Saturday is also our Bigfoot’s Little Donuts Spirit Day from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm. Ten percent of all proceeds will be donated to Whitesburg Elementary. This is an easy way to raise funds for our school so that we can do exciting things at WBES. Bigfoot’s Little Donuts is located at 7914 Memorial Parkway, Suite A5. If you haven’t tried these donuts, you are missing out! They are one of my favorites! Tell your friends and family.
Detailed information will be coming home on February 15 for the WBES Color Run Fundraiser. Students will get sponsors for the run which will take place on March 8. The funds raised will be used to fund indoor recess carts for the teachers. There will be WBES Color Run T-shirts to purchase, and other fun items. There will also be concessions sold at the race. Please support the school by asking your family and friends to sponsor your child.
