I want to thank all the parents that are coming out to our Thursday night FAST Program. We had such a good turnout last night with great parent information.
On our last FAST program night, Thursday, February 23, I will be giving our Mid-Year State of the School. I look forward to sharing our school growth and next steps with all of you.
I just want to bring your attention to a few exciting, upcoming events:
Greenpower Goblin Race on Saturday, February 11 – Our Greenpower Goblins will be racing with all the other HCS Schools on Saturday, February 11 at Milton Frank Stadium. Please come out and support them.
Bigfoot’s Little Donuts Spirit Day – On Saturday, February 11, from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm, it will be WBES Spirit Day at Bigfoot’s Little Donuts located at 7914 Memorial Parkway, Suite A5. Bigfoot’s Little Donuts will donate 10% of all sales on 2/11/23. So, grab your friends, family, and neighbors to come show your Whitesburg Pride and have a delicious treat after you support our Greenpower Goblins at Milton Frank Stadium.
WBES Color Run on March 8 – We will have our first WBES Color Run on March 8, starting at 12:30 pm. Please see the video and information below. Students will get sponsored by family and friends. A sponsor sign-up sheet will be sent home on Wednesday, February 15 in the student’s Wednesday Folders. Each grade level will run three laps, while the other grade levels are cheering them on and throwing color at the runners. Colored powder and concession will be available for purchase on the day of the run. More details will come home with the students on February 15.
