We are proud to say that we will start the FAST program at Whitesburg Elementary every Thursday for six weeks, beginning on January 19, 2023.
What is FA.S.T.? FAST IS a collaborative, school-based early prevention program utilizing experiential activities designed to engage and strengthen families, enhance the educational experience for students while reducing incidents of child abuse and neglect. The FAST program is a whole-family experience incorporating a meal. family-focused games and engaging activities, run activities for children, special prizes, and much more!
Your students should have brought home a flyer this past Wednesday with more information about our meeting on January 19, 2023, in the cafeteria. Please make sure that you send in your RSVP so that we will be prepared with enough food and activities.
We began planning our Color Run this week that will take place on March 8. We are so excited about this event and cannot wait for all the students, teachers, and parents to have a great time of fun and activity while raising funds to enhance the student’s learning and activities. We will be sharing more information soon.
