The Influential Black Leaders Poster Contest is presented by the WBES Student Council. Following are the categories:
Pre K/K: Music
1st Grade: Athletes
2nd Grade: Poets
3rd Grade: Inventors
4th Grade: Political Figures
5th Grade: Actors/Actresses
Requirements: Name of influential black leader, photographs or illustrations, date of birth/location, reason why we celebrate them, legacy/achievements, quote, 3 important life events.
Posters are due February 16, 2024. One winner from each grade level will present at the Black History Program.
