We will have our Color Run on March 20. All WBES students can participate in the Color Run. If they participate, they will get color powder on their clothes, hair, body, shoes, etc. The color powder easily washes out of most fabrics, skin, and hair using only soap and water, but it is still recommended leaving those fancy shoes and clothes at home.
We MUST have permission for your child to participate in the Color Run. If your child does not have permission, they will stay inside the school to ensure they do not accidentally get color on them, as students can purchase color and throw it wherever they want.
We had a great time last year. Students and parents had a blast! Remember that it is a fund raiser. Students simply get family and friends to donate money for their run. There are prizes for different types of donation. It would be great if all students participated. All fund raising money is used to enhance student learning.
Students are also able to order fun and festive items for the run.
All information went home this past week regarding all of the above. If you did not receive, please let your teacher know.Thank you for being an integral part of our Burg community and for always supporting our efforts.
