Whitesburg Parents and Guardians,
We have had a great first full week of school!
Please let you students know how proud you are of them for their positive behavior since we began school. I am so proud of them.
Please review the arrival, dismissal, and attendance tips below. Remember that the doors unlock and their is student supervision starting at 7:30. Please do not drop you child off before 7:30, as they will not be supervised making it an unsafe environment for the child.
The dismissal car line time has decreased daily. We have many more car riders than we had last year, so it is taking a little longer. Please make sure that you are pulling as close as you can safely to the car in front of you so that we do not have our car line backed up onto Whitesburg Road. The time in line will also decrease when the students know their car tag number. Please help us with that at home.
Please also note that if your child rides the bus, there needs to be an adult at the stop to meet the child.
Please keep an open communication with your child's teacher. The students, teachers, parents, and myself are all a team that must work together for the success of each student.
