We are proud to support our low income families in their academic journey. This year, we are reaching out to individuals and organizations in our community to assist us in funding our annual Color Run for our school. The Color Run is an opportunity for our students to raise money for our school, while also participating in something fun with their peers. The money raised will go towards classroom supplies, resources needed for students, and other expenses that come up during the school year.
Our goal is to raise $3,000 by February 20,2025. With these funds, we aim to purchase T-shirts and other items for the run and for our students, who otherwise may not be able to afford these. Thus meaning, the other funds raised can go straight into the classrooms. By donating to our event, you will not only be investing in the education of over 300 students at our school but also playing a significant role in the experiences that these students get to have while at our school. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, can make a difference.
As a token of our appreciation, we will proudly display the names of our donors on the back of our t-shirt, as well as a banner that will be around the track the day of the run. We will be happy to supply you with a tax donation letter. If you would like to support our event, you can make a check payable to Whitesburg Elementary School and mail it to our school address mentioned below. We would also be honored to have you come the day of the race and show you firsthand the positive impact your generosity can make.
