We have had a great week of teaching and learning!
Our Book Fair was a success. Thanks to parents who volunteered. We cannot do fun things like this without you!
Our Tall Small Sneaker Ball was a blast! I think all students and families had a great time. Thanks to PTA for all of their hard work in planning and making it a success.
Progress reports went home on Monday. Please make sure that you have seen your childs' progress as of mid 3rd nine weeks. We are watching students' data and grades very closely at this time of year to determine whether they are promoted or retained. We have worked very hard at making sure all students are successful; however, some students are still struggling. Teachers are having 2nd quarter parent/teacher conferences at this point and it is really important that you schedule and make these meetings. We do not want any parents to be surprised.
Color run sponsors and order forms are trickling in slowly. I know many of you are probably still working on getting sponsors. This is one of our big fund raisers of the year that is super easy and also fun for our students and families.
Please do not forget we we do not have school on Monday due to our President's Day Holiday.
Let's continue to strive for excellence in everything that we do.
