Huntsville is the “Rocket City,” engineering the rockets to power humankind to reach new heights. Continuing that tradition of excellence and innovation, Huntsville City Schools (HCS) strives to Inspire, Engage, and Empower our students. In June of 2023, HCS embarked on the mission to craft our strategic plan, involving various stakeholders such as district staff members, principals, faculty, students, parents, and community members in the plan’s development.

We are excited to share our strategic plan with you. This plan comprises guiding principles, overarching strategic goals, and the associated strategies. Each strategy will undergo further refinement with detailed action plans for implementation. HCS Strategic Plan will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Huntsville City Schools.
