The month of September designates two weeks to celebrate the arts! Huntsville City Schools has two Magnet Programs that are dedicated to fostering the arts in students daily. However, the arts is an important component in all magnet locations no matter the theme.

The Creative and Performing Arts Magnet Program
Located at Lee High School
and has nine concentrations in the Arts:
- Dance
- Theatre
- Technical Theatre
- Media Arts: Film and Video
- Media Arts: Creative Writing
- Performance Arts: Instrumental
- Performance Arts: Vocal
- Visual Arts
- Photography
The Academy for Academics and Arts Elementary
& Middle
provide an opportunity for students to have exposure in the following art disciplines:
