Students and teachers at Highlands Elementary will be returning to a newly renovated campus for the upcoming school year. The school temporarily moved to the Cavalry Hills campus prior to the beginning of last school year when supply chain issues caused construction delays.
The school received a new roof, new heating and cooling systems, new flooring, new LED lighting, and new drop ceilings along with other updates. Additionally, fresh paint, pressure washing, and landscaping occurred to make the campus welcoming and visually appealing.
The first day of school for students will be Tuesday, Aug. 2.
