Huntsville City Schools (HCS) will provide students and families a glimpse into life as a kindergarten student through the district's virtual 'K for a Day' on Monday, April 27, 2020.
Nearly 25 elementary schools will post 'K for a Day' videos on school websites introducing families to teachers and administrators, providing an overview on curriculum, reviewing daily schedules and more. HCS invites families to view a list of elementary school websites. The videos can be found on school home pages underneath the School News heading and will be available for several weeks to provide stakeholders the opportunity to view the 'K for a Day' events.
While 'K for a Day' events are usually hosted in-person every year, HCS is transitioning the events online as the district continues to execute its Blended Learning Plan.
