Ashley Daniel, Lee High School’s vocal performance instructor, speaks highly of Torey’s growth and dedication.
"When someone asked me to talk about why you come to school each day and teach music, I think of Torey," Daniel says. "Torey Rice is an outstanding young man. He puts forth the effort each and every day."
Daniel highlights Torey’s eagerness to go beyond the familiar and embrace challenges, which has fueled his progress and deepened his love for music.
“Just the eagerness to learn more about music and not just about things that he's used to… he can do anything because he can," Daniel says, beaming with pride.

“She has helped me a lot, and I appreciate her so much,” Torey says, reflecting on his journey with the vocal magnet program. “She taught me things that I never thought I would be doing."
